S.A.G.E
What is Saving A Generation England?
S.A.G.E has emerged as our service set up to support, enable and empower underprivileged children, in disadvantaged communities, to have a better start in life by reaching their full potential in terms of an improved schooling experience and enhanced physical, emotional and mental health.
W.E.A.S
Wellness Engagement and Advocacy Service
W.E.A.S is a service delivered by Apple Box Company staff supported by community volunteers, to ensure that clients are supported in their attempts to engage with mainstream mental wellbeing services. This service is of benefit to clients, carers and providers alike who are experiencing difficulty navigating barriers that are having a subsequent negative impact on engagement.
Why S.A.G.E?
The concept for S.A.G.E was born in response to the issues preventing some of the young people in the city of Leeds from reaching their full potential as a result of a problematic schooling experience. Leeds has since set out its vision for becoming a child friendly city. This vision, outcomes and priorities are captured in the Children and Young People’s (CYP) Plan for the city.
What are the S.A.G.E objectives?
The S.A.G.E objectives for disadvantaged children are as follows:
- To improve their schooling experience
- To enhance their physical and emotional health
- To identify and address their mental health and wellness
- To provide provision of professional and culturally sensitive behavioural support.
